Learn how to create an embroidered bookmark! Local artist Sara Miller will teach you how to transfer simple patterns, a handful of basic embroidery stitches and finishing techniques. The skills learned during the series can be easily be applied to more complex projects outside of this class, however, no experience is required to join the class.

Class size is limited to 15 people, and costs $25 for the 4-week series. Payment is due on or before April 19, 2024.

A native of Wyomissing, Miller has always found inspiration in nature. Growing up surrounded by the beauty of her community, it has been a consistent theme in her artistic work. She studied both studio art and art history at Dickinson College and SACI in Florence, Italy. After graduation, she spent several years in New York City, ultimately settling on a career as an elementary and middle school art teacher. Following the birth of her children, she was able to focus on her own work and moved beyond drawing, painting and collage into fibers, with a special love for embroidery. Having always made creating a priority in her own life, she is thrilled to share her interests with others. For a window into her work visit @lookingagainandagain on Instagram.
