"The mission of Wyomissing Public Library is to provide a wide variety of popular and informational material for reading, listening, and viewing. The library places an emphasis on those services which encourage children and parents to read together, as well as providing educational, cultural and general programs for the community at large. Electronic as well as print reference information is available."
Many thanks for your continued support and patronage at Wyomissing Public Library. To be more connected with our patrons, we will be sending a monthly email newsletter. Each letter will include a variety of information, upcoming programs, book
recommendations, and useful communications for the Wyomissing community.
We hope this newsletter will keep you engaged and informed through your community library.

"Wyomissing Then & Now" John Schmoyer Presentation
Thursday, March 7, 2013 @ 7 p.m.
Please join us for a lively presentation of the many changes that have occurred in the Borough of Wyomissing over a period of decades.
Mr. Schmoyer will be presenting a collection of photographs representing the views of the Borough of Wyomissing as it looked decades ago in contrast to how it looks today. The 2012 photographs were taken from the exact same vantage point as they were taken many years ago. All who attend will enjoy seeing the changing face of our beautiful borough.

Concept of borrowing
What does a librarian do?
How are books kept in order?

Hazel, Clara and Miss Corinne
"I've been a stay at home mother since 2006. When my first daughter Clara was just a toddler, we were in desperate need of some outside human contact. I started taking her, and later her sister as well, to the children's story time at the Wyomissing Library. It was a great way for us to get out of the house and gave our week a bit of structure. We continued to go, almost every week until we moved in 2012. Story time with Miss Corinne is one of the things we miss most since we've moved. I feel as though my girls, especially Hazel, grew up there. Thank you, Wyomissing Public Library, for providing such a great service to the community."
