The story of how Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz (Tatum) was invited by his multi-millionaire
mentor John du Pont (Carell) to live on his estate while he trained for
the 1988 Seoul Olympics. However, du Pont's mental instability quickly
became apparent, and as he sought more and more to tighten his hold over Mark and have an
in not only his training but his personal life as well, the dynamic
between the pair turned sour -- an event which would have dire
consequences for Mark and his family.

Wyomissing native, Kate T. Williamson. Kate is the author of two
graphic novels, "A Year in Japan" and "At a Crossroads: Between a Rock
and My Parents' Place," and the creator of THIS NIGHT socks. After
the presentation, Ms. Williamson will be available for autographing
books and she will also have socks available for purchase.

Beginning Saturday, March 12th at 1:00 p.m., we will launch our new
Veteran Speaker Series. Our first speaker is Bert Winzer, a
veteran of the famed Devil's Brigade who will speak about his WWII
experiences. More information will be available as we get closer
to the date.
