  • Please bring slightly used shoes to "recycle"

Chess club will meet Saturday, April 11 & April 25 at 10:00 a.m. 
in the Community Room.  All ages welcome.

The library is looking for community heroes to join us for our summer storytimes!

Our storytimes are Wednesday and Thursday mornings @ 10:00 and last about 40 minutes. If you're passionate about what you do, we want to hear from you!

To celebrate, the library will host Berks County's 6th Poet Laureate, Nancy Yeager, for programs all month long! 

Poetry Practicum - 
Join Nancy Yeager for Poetry Practicum - a weekly poetry workshop for all levels of poets. Emphasis will be placed on reading and writing free-verse.  All you need is a notepad and a pen!

Fridays at 1:00 p.m. beginning April 10th.

Bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the community room with your storytime friends before we begin!
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is coming to the library!
Beginning April 1, stop by the library for a reading log and a recommended reading list for your little one! 
Join us for a storytime and info session on Saturday, April 11 @ 2:30 p.m. and meet the kindergarten teachers from Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center, who will be providing a discussion on what to expect when your child starts their new school adventure.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is appropriate for any newborn, infant, or toddler who has not yet started kindergarten.  


Camp NaNoWriMo is a spin -off of National Novel Writing Month, which takes place every November.  Camp NaNoWriMo is an open-ended month of writing your own novel or short stories!


How we do it: Campers will meet every Wednesday in April anytime between 3:30-5:00 p.m. to share ideas and feedback on our stories and spend time writing together. Miss Joie will register our "cabin" on the official "National Novel Writing Month-Camp NaNoWriMo" website.


Why we do it: Because we love to write!  This program is perfect for tweens (8-11) and
teens (12-18)!

Registration is not required for this program, however, we will register each individual online as they attend our weekly meetings.

Have you heard? The library is starting a new family fitness class - Zumbini!

Zumbini is for the youngest "Zumba" fans, ages 0-3 years old, and their caregiver who are looking to have some fun and bond with their lil' party animals!

The Zumbini program was developed for caregivers and their children, to learn, bond, and grow in an upbeat and happy, musical environment. Join certified instructor Rae Johnson-Bundy for this energetic 45-minute class on
