Yoga for Kids
Saturday, July 1
Join yoga instructor Amy Sharkey for our FREE yoga classes.   Class sizes are limited; registration is required. 
Mommy & Me @ 10:00 am.
For ages 3-5

Bond with your child while you experience yoga together! For ages 3ish to 5ish and a parent or guardian. Remember to bring two beach towels or yoga mats.  Daddies, Aunties and Uncles are also welcome to attend.

Wine Night Out
Monday, July 3 @ 7:00 p.m.
Join Bernadette Bresnahan from Creative Spirit Painting for a wine painting party! You will have a choice between painting a starfish, crab, flowers, or an American flag. Optional: Bring a bottle of wine to share!


The cost is $25 for 2 wine glasses.

Carsonia Park:
Midway of Memories

Wednesday, July 5

Join us in welcoming local author Paul A. Druzba for a discussion about his recent book, Carsonia Park: Midway of Memories.  In it's heyday, Carsonia Park was one of the premiere amusement parks in PA. Built by the United Traction Company as a trolley destination, the park was one of the places to go for weekend fun from 1896 until it closed in 1950. In addition to picnic pavilions, a carousel and other rides it featured one of the country‚Äôs first roller coasters.

In addition to the book about Carsonia Park, Mr. Druzba has published books on Neversink Mountain and Pendora Park. All of his books will be available for purchase and signing at the program.

Veteran's Speaker Series:
Lawrence O'Rourke
Saturday, July 8 @ 1:00 p.m.

Army veteran Lawrence O'Rourke will be the featured speaker at our July program.   Mr. O'Rourke was drafted into the US Army's Special Engineer Department (SED) in 1943 and was sent to Columbia University. There he was hired to help research and develop the gaseous diffusion process for the separation of uranium. O'Rourke was ultimately sent to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where he worked on the top-secret Manhattan Project, the project that developed the atom bomb.

Build a Bluebird House

Bring your hammer and build a birdhouse for your backyard. Learn all about the life cycle of a bluebird. This is a family program, for all ages. Presented by Lancaster County Parks and Recreation.

Weiner Dog Fun!

Help us welcome local author Nadine Poper as she launches her new children's book, Frank Stinks, the third in a silly series about dachshunds.

We'll enjoy meeting her own weiner dog, Wendy. For extra special fun, Nadine will show us how to make edible "chocolate wiener dogs!" You'll have a yummy time! All ages are welcome.

Hey, all you aspiring poets out there! Dr. T will show you how to tap your natural creative juices and get your words gushing! Together, as a group, you will brainstorm the words, and he will show you how to twirl them into one big collaborative poem! Even if you thought you couldn't, Dr. T will show you that you can!

A Coming-of-Middle-Age Journey

Join us in welcoming local author Don Carswell.  He recently published the book Look at the Sun: A Coming-of-Middle-Age Journey.

"The goal of this book is to make you think...to examine your life, your purpose, your possibilities, and to help you to see the beauty and color in everyday life.
