Join us in welcoming local author, John Geraci, as he discusses "The Art of the Nudge: Unlocking Your Hidden Potential." Mr. Geraci, the co-founder of CI Squared, a Leadership
Development and Sales Training company, developed an innovative
communication framework to inspire you and your organization to take
action in these fast-paced times. John will introduce some key concepts of how "The Art of the Nudge"
can help you increase revenues, increase margins,
increase customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.

Spring is Sprouting Family Event Saturday, March 11 @ 10:30 am

Spring is just around the corner, and it’s time to get our library
community garden ready! Please join us with neighborhood garden experts,
Danielle and Jordan, of Grow Your Own Freedom. Kids will be learning
about seeds, veggies, and more. Weather-permitting, we’ll be stepping
outside to the library garden to see what’s in that soil. As
always, we’ll share a story or two, and you’ll be making and
taking something special home!

Warren Kimmel, President of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter
#1008
in Lancaster, PA. Warren served in the U.S. Navy during the
Vietnam War. Mr. Kimmel will be joined by a panel of Vietnam War
Veterans from the organization. Each veteran will share some of
their experiences in the Vietnam War. More information will be
available as we get closer to the event.

Reading Theater Project Special Performance Monday, March 13 @ 6:30 pm
The Reading Theater Project is once again a participating partner for
"One Book, One Community" in 2017. These dramatic reading performances
are based on Elizabeth Wein’s Rose Under Fire and will include
professional actors and direction by Reading Theater Project’s
professional theatre ensemble. Adaptation written by Reading Theater
Project’s own playwright, Vicki Haller Graff.

Old Polish Folk Arts, Music, and Stories with Rik Palieri Wednesday, March 22 @ 1:30 pm
In this educational and entertaining program, folk musician and story teller Rik Palieri explains
the life of a Polish mountaineer and demonstrates traditional Polish
instruments such as the Gajdy, Fujarki, and the 15
foot long wooden trumpet.
Rik Palieri received a fellowship from the Kosciusko
Foundation for the study of the Polish Bagpipe. Living high up in the mountains
of Istebna in southern Poland, he learned the secrets of piping from Jozef
Broda and the last remaining pipers of that time. Jozef and the other pipers
taught Rik not only the bagpipes but also how to play the wooden flute, clay
ocarina and the long wooden trumpet.
