Gender Identity & Expression

Thursday, August. 5, 2021    |     6:00 p.m.

Tasha Santiago, Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for the LGBT Center of Greater Reading, will present an educational and informational program about Gender Identity & Expression: What Does It all Mean?, on Thursday, August 5th at 6 PM at the Wyomissing Public Library.

According to Wikipedia, gender identity is the personal sense of one's own gender and can correlate with a person's assigned sex at birth or can differ from it. Gender expression typically reflects a person's gender identity, but this is not always the case.

The in-person program, for adults and teens, is free and open to the public, but reservations are requested. Masks are optional. Email ann@wyopublib.org or call the library at 610-374-2385 to register. The library is located at 9 Reading Boulevard in Wyomissing.
